79-81 HONDA XL500/XR500 531cc BIGBORE PISTON KIT

Brand new 92mm bigbore piston kit for the Honda XL500 / XR500 single-cylinder engine. Increases displacement from 498cc to approximately 531cc.

• Aftermarket replacement product.
• 3mm oversize piston for increased displacement.
• Cylinder boring is required for installation.
• Please confirm the motorcycle model and year before ordering.

This is an aftermarket product and is not a genuine Honda part.

Cylinder boring is required before this piston kit can be installed. This is not a direct bolt-on replacement for a standard bore cylinder.

• The cylinder must be bored and honed to suit the 92mm piston by a qualified machine shop.
• Please have your cylinder measured before ordering to confirm that sufficient wall thickness remains.
• A new head gasket and base gasket are recommended when reassembling.

For standard bore engines (89mm). If your cylinder has already been bored oversize, please contact us before ordering.
